SAN BERNARDINO, CA - Wednesday, September 9 - Following a successful 2026 edition this past weekend, global dance music experience curator Insomniac announces the return of Wasteland SoCal to the NOS Event Center in San Bernardino, CA on Friday, September 3 and Saturday, September 4, 2027. Celebrating its fusion of hard dance music and industrial-inspired production design, Wasteland SoCal will return in 2027 with three stages and another fully-immersive takeover of the NOS Event Center.
The 2026 edition marked the debut of Wasteland’s new three-stage format, with production design and programming from Unreal Germany, Mutate, and Basscon helping shape distinct environments across The Shelter, The Scrap Yard, and The Hangar. The festival’s first year with the expanded three-stage layout marked its biggest edition yet, bringing together the full spectrum of the global hard dance movement, from hardstyle and rawstyle to hardcore, hard techno, hard groove, and beyond.
Day one of Wasteland 2026 kicked off with a relentless showcase of hard dance, hardstyle, hardcore, and hard techno. At the Mutate-hosted and Unreal Germany production-designed The Shelter stage, Restricted and Kayzo brought their high-impact sounds to the mainstage alongside sets from Novah, Fatima Hajji, Onlynumbers, Somewhen, Serafina, and Shmitty, while Basscon’s The Scrap Yard delivered hardstyle and hardcore from Lil Texas B2B Yosuf, Mad Dog, Sub Zero Project, Ben Nicky Presents Xtreme, Vertile, Kruelty, Dr. Donk, and SOREN. Over at The Hangar, Clawz Presents: For The Floor, Junkie Kid, BEAUZ, Atmozfears, Keltek, CUTDWN, and Polarity pushed the high-BPM energy even further into the night.
Day two brought an equally heavy close to the 11th edition, with renowned German promoter, Unreal Germany, hosting The Shelter, featuring sets from Alignment, Cara Elizabeth, Fantasm, Johannes Schuster, Kobosil, KUKO, Trym, and Winson, while Basscon’s The Scrap Yard featured Alyssa Jolee, Angerfist, D-Sturb, Darren Styles. DJ Isaac, Dual Damage, Rooler, and Sihk B2B Water Spirit. At The Hangar, Bioweapon, DEAD X, Dea Magna B2B Dani Thorne, gothparade, Levenkhan, and The Purge performed.
Beyond the music, Wasteland 2026 transformed the NOS Event Center into a fully-immersive post-apocalyptic world, with art installations and interactive experiences woven throughout the festival grounds. Nomads Land created its own distinct world within Wasteland, featuring custom-built furniture, walls, and other rugged installations that brought the nomadic settlement to life. The Rust District offered a tattoo parlor, lounge, speakeasy, and additional experiences designed to give Headliners a place to explore, recharge, and immerse themselves in the Wasteland universe. Throughout the grounds, large-scale installations including the towering Globe of Death, Spires, Fuego, six Future Ruin structures, six Future Fire installations, Container Murals, Graffiti Bar containers, Grenade Toss, Survival Gear Outpost, and Soul in the Machine further expanded the festival’s dystopian landscape.
Additionally, both GA and VIP Headliners had access to the stages at The Shelter and The Scrap Yard, bringing fans closer to the festival’s high-impact production and artists while creating a more open experience across two of Wasteland’s central stage environments.
