Insomniac Relaunches Insomniac Cares With Holiday Toy Drives at Fall Festivals

5 Min Read

LOS ANGELES, CA - TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3 - The global dance music experience curator Insomniac has announced the relaunch of Insomniac Cares, its community-focused initiative dedicated to giving back to the dance floor, with a series of holiday toy drives taking place at several of its Fall festivals: Boo! Arizona, Escape Psycho Circus, and EDC Orlando. The initiative invites festival-goers to help bring holiday joy to children in need through toy donations collected at each event.

As part of the initiative, Insomniac Cares has partnered with local communities to distribute the collected toys to families in need. The first toy drives took place at Escape Psycho Circus at the NOS Event Center in San Bernardino, California and Boo! Arizona at WestWorld of Scottsdale. Next up, Insomniac’s East Coast flagship festival EDC Orlando will host another toy drive on-site to continue the initiative.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy valued at $20 or more to participating festivals in exchange for a $20 beverage voucher in return for their contribution. The toy drives take place on all days of each festival, giving attendees multiple opportunities to participate and spread PLUR throughout the community.

Additionally, Insomniac Cares is giving back to the Central Florida community and investing in the next generation of event professionals. During EDC Orlando, local community members and college students will be invited behind the scenes for an exclusive festival tour, offering a rare look at the production of Insomniac’s East Coast flagship event. Aspiring industry leaders from the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management and Full Sail University will walk the festival grounds and learn firsthand how a world-class festival comes to life, bringing classroom lessons into the real world.

“My whole life has been dedicated to creating joy for people on the dance floor. I believe that experience can be therapeutic for the mind, body and soul. After doing this for so long, being able to extend that same spirit beyond our community is a blessing and something I truly enjoy. There are people in need, and if you have the ability to do more, you should. We’re committed to doing our part, and it makes dancing together that much more meaningful” - Pasquale Rotella, Insomniac Founder

Insomniac Cares builds on the company’s ongoing commitment to giving back, including its 2025 LA Fire Benefit events supporting relief efforts following the devastating wildfires in Pacific Palisades and Altadena, and the EDC Las Vegas 2026 Charity Auction, which raised $90,000 for each of its beneficiaries, Casa de Luz and Camp Alamo. Rooted in the values of peace, love, unity and respect that have long defined rave culture and Insomniac’s ethos, Insomniac Cares extends the spirit of the dance floor into the community that has long supported it.
