AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - SUNDAY AUGUST 2, 2026 - WorldPride Music Festival producer Jake Resnicow together with global dance music experience curator Insomniac welcomed Madonna and Club Confessions to Amsterdam on Saturday, August 1, and delivered the surprise of the year when longtime friend and pop icon Kylie Minogue joined her on stage, debuting a brand-new song together in front of the crowd at AFAS Live. Madonna was also joined throughout the set by longtime collaborator and producer Stuart Price, before Grammy-winning DJ and producer Honey Dijon took over the decks.
The appearance brought Club Confessions powered by Mistr to the 6,000-capacity AFAS Live on the night of Amsterdam's world-famous Canal Parade, where Madonna stepped on stage proclaiming, "Mother is here” and “this is gay heaven," instantly setting the tone for an unforgettable celebration of queer joy, freedom and community. It marked Madonna's first performance during WorldPride since she closed Pride Island at WorldPride New York in 2019, and the first-ever Club Confessions staged as part of a WorldPride celebration — made all the more historic by Kylie's surprise cameo.
Club Confessions capped a two-night, multi-stage lineup featuring Paris Hilton, Bebe Rexha, Purple Disco Machine, Oliver Heldens, and more. The festival also set an official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® title for the most confetti released in one minute.

Looking ahead, the Music Festival will make its next stop at Factory Town in Miami in February 2027, with an open-air, multi-stage experience from sunset to sunrise, marking the festival's first-ever Pride takeover of the venue - seven acres of steel, concrete and open sky that Insomniac has built into a living, breathing city of sound.
WorldPride is hosted in a different global city for each edition, advances LGBTQ+ visibility, equality and human rights through marches, festivals, cultural programming and a global human-rights conference. Amsterdam hosts WorldPride for the first time this year, commemorating 25 years since the Netherlands became the first country in the world to legalize same-sex marriage. WorldPride Music Festival advances the global mission by raising funds for InterPride’s work connecting and strengthening Pride organizations around the world.
