Los Angeles, CA – June 18, 2026 — Eight-time GRAMMY-nominated producer, DJ, and electronic music icon Kaskade and global dance music experience curator Insomniac have officially announced the return of Sun Soaked, bringing the signature beachside festival experience back to Huntington State Beach on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
Presented in partnership with Insomniac, Sun Soaked returns following a sold-out 2025 edition, continuing its evolution as one of Southern California's most distinctive dance music experiences. Set directly on the sands of Huntington Beach, the festival combines world-class electronic music with the natural backdrop of the Pacific coastline, creating a uniquely California experience rooted in community, connection, and music.
This year's lineup features performances from Kaskade, Cassian, Matroda, BUNT., D.O.D, Me N Ü, Lavern, Bobby Harvey, and Esse.
Kaskade will perform two exclusive sets throughout the day, including a solo headline performance and a special back-to-back set with BUNT. - marking a rare live collaboration between two generations of electronic music artists. The appearance follows the recent release of their collaborative single "Comes Back Around," which debuted during Kaskade's landmark return to Coachella earlier this year and has quickly become one of the defining records of his current ORIGIN // era.
The announcement arrives amid a career-defining year for Kaskade. Earlier this spring, he closed the Sahara Stage at Coachella with one of the festival's most talked-about performances, unveiling ORIGIN //, a completely reimagined live concept and announcing his forthcoming album live on stage. Since then, he has released the official EDC Las Vegas 2026 anthem "Meet Again" alongside Layton Giordani and Natalie Jane, launched new collaborations with BUNT., and embarked on a global touring cycle spanning EDC Las Vegas, Electric Forest, Tomorrowland, and headline performances worldwide.
For Kaskade, Sun Soaked remains one of his most personal projects - a festival built around his longstanding connection to Southern California beach culture and the idea that dance music experiences can feel expansive without losing their sense of intimacy.
"Sun Soaked has always been about bringing people together somewhere that feels different," says Kaskade. "There's something about standing on the beach with the ocean behind you, surrounded by people who love music, that changes the energy completely. Every year it evolves a little bit, but the feeling stays the same. That's what keeps bringing me back."
Originally launched in 2017 with Insomniac, Sun Soaked quickly established itself as one of the most sought-after events on the West Coast, growing from a boutique beach gathering into a destination experience that regularly attracts fans from around the world. Following its highly successful return in 2025, the festival now enters its next chapter as an annual staple on the Southern California music calendar.
